Guarnitions for piston by Guarnitec play a critical role in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, offering reliable sealing against potential fluid or gas leaks at the piston head. Located within the cylinder head, they ensure an optimal level of seal. Guarnitec piston seals are distinguished into two main categories: single-effect seals and double-effect seals, depending on the direction of pressure generated inside the cylinder.

TPM, TPM/P
TPM is a double-action piston seal, ideal for ensuring economical sealing and excellent resistance under moderate pressure. Composed of five elements, with a central part made of NBR rubber and support rings made of thermoplastic material, and a guide in acetalytic, this unique combination of materials ensures low friction at high pressure, and is also available in a special heat-resistant material for harsh conditions.

TPL
TPL piston seals are designed hydraulic seals intended to prevent fluid loss in alternative applications. With exceptional strength at high pressures and temperatures, they provide low friction and long lifespan. Composed of five elements, including a central NBR rubber part, support rings made of thermoplastic material (PET or POM), and guide rings made of acetalytic resin (POM) to reduce wear and prevent metal-to-metal contact. Suitable for single-piece pistons and applications at medium pressure up to 350 bar, they are also available in special materials that resist temperatures up to 110°C.

TPS/T
TPS/T piston seal is a hydraulic solution that seals the space between the piston and cylinder wall in a hydraulic cylinder. With a design intended to prevent fluid loss and maintain system efficiency, it consists of three elements: a central core made of NBR rubber with cotton fabric reinforcement, and two guide rings made of POM. Suitable for medium-high pressures and resistant to temperatures from -30°C to +110°C, it offers reliable sealing with low friction and long lifespan, representing a simple and economical solution.

TPS/G
TPS/G version is composed of five elements (central core in NBR rubber, two support rings in thermoplastic material, and two guide rings in acetal), while TPS/T is formed by three components with a central seal in NBR/tow. The maximum pressure for TPS/G is 300 bar, the velocity is 0.5 m/s, and the temperature interval ranges from -30°C to +110°C.

GT/3
GT/3 seal is widely used in dual-action cylinders, consisting of three sealing elements that include a reinforced rubber support ring, a “V”-shaped sealing ring to prevent extrusion, and a thrust ring to ensure uniform pressure. For special conditions, high pressures, or aggressive chemicals, it is possible to substitute the standard NBR/tow material with NBR/FKM material.

PDH, PDP
PDH and PDP, classified as rolling bead seals, are designed as standard sealing elements replacing traditional piston seals. They maintain the same dimensions as the cylinder bore and offer two material combinations. The PDH uses support rings in acetalytic resin, a main seal element made of PTFE-reinforced fluoropolymer, and an energizer in NBR rubber. The PDP is an economic alternative with support rings in acetalytic resin and a main seal element made of “Tecnolan” polyurethane, suitable for agricultural machines with low pressures and moderate speeds.

TGU
TGU series offers general characteristics suitable for application of pistons in dual-action cylinders. Comprising three elements, including a main seal element made of reinforced rubber fabric, an energizer in NBR rubber, and a guide ring in acetalytic POM resin to prevent extrusion under low-pressure conditions.

TTU
TTU piston seals made from polyurethane prevent fluid loss between the piston and cylinder. With a symmetric profile ideal for low-speed cylinders, they can also serve as stem seals. They resist pressures up to 400 bar and speeds up to 0.5 m/s, operating over a temperature range of -40°C to +110°C, and are available in various sizes.

TTE
TTE high-performance piston seals made from durable polyurethane are designed for demanding applications. The symmetric profile provides versatility in installation, delivering excellent elasticity, minimal deformation, and good abrasion resistance. Suitable for reliable industries including construction, agriculture, and industrial hydraulic systems.

TTE/W
TTE/W seal, made from “Tecnolan” polyurethane, offers all the necessary characteristics to support its symmetric profile, with high elasticity, low deformation, and excellent abrasion resistance. The inner lip provides static sealing, while the outer lip, smaller and thicker, ensures dynamic sealing.

TTO PB501
TTO PB501 is a double-acting piston seal for hydraulic cylinders, composed of polyurethane and NBR rings. It offers high elasticity, low deformation, and excellent abrasion resistance, ensuring compatibility with various fluids. It can withstand pressures up to 400 bar, speeds up to 0.5 m/s, and temperatures from -40°C to +110°C.

TTO PB546
TTO PB546 seal, consisting of polyurethane and NBR rings, prevents fluid loss between piston and cylinder. It offers high elasticity, low deformation, and excellent abrasion resistance. Suitable for pressures up to 40 MPa and speeds up to 0.5 m/s, it is ideal for agricultural cylinders, earthmoving machines, elevators, and other hydraulic systems.

TTQ
TTQ is a piston seal divided into two parts, designed for demanding applications where stability is improved due to its rectangular transverse section. With a maximum pressure of 400 bar, speeds up to 0.5 m/s, and a temperature range of -40°C to +110°C, the seal utilizes polyurethane (PU) and nitrile rubber (NBR) for optimal strength and flexibility.

TTR
TTR piston seals consist of an elastic ring in polyurethane or NBR and an O-ring in NBR, sealing the space between piston and cylinder in alternative applications. With a trapezoidal cross-sectional profile and symmetric shape for versatile installation, these seals resist high pressures (up to 40 MPa) and low speeds (up to 0.5 m/s), making them suitable for standard and compact cylinders.

TUT
TUTs are polyurethane seals that seal the space between piston and cylinder in double-acting cylinders. With high elasticity and abrasion resistance, their symmetric profile is well-suited for low-speed cylinders. They can handle pressures up to 50 MPa, speeds up to 1 m/s, and temperatures from -30°C to +110°C, making them ideal for robust applications and high-pressure cylinders.

GUA-RING 01
GUA-RING 01 is a piston seal designed for hydraulic cylinders and other machinery. With a sliding ring in special material and an energized elastomeric part, it offers sealing, low friction, and wear resistance. Suitable for applications with a closed housing, it presents cost-effective pricing and long lifespan, resisting pressures up to 700 bar, speeds up to 12 m/s, and temperatures from -30°C to +200°C.

GUA-RING GER
GUA-RING GER are designed for hydraulic pistons, consisting of a sliding ring in PTFE and an energized elastomeric part.
